MADAM funny.
Madam Improv features improvisers from across the U.S. who now call Nashville home. The madams use their own unique blend of short and long-form improvisation to create a night of laughs you won’t soon forget!

Separated from her pack during the great ice storm of 2016 she followed the moonlight and sounds of laughter to Nashville Tennessee where the cast of madam improv have taken her in as their own. She still may not be tamed but you can find her on the stage surrounded by howls of laughter. When she isn’t on stage she also enjoys keeping bees and pretending to be a homesteader in East Nashville.

She spent years studying acting and performing in both Chicago and Los Angeles so she can finally get to the point where she can say “yes and” once in a while. When not performing improv, you can find Sara doing all sorts of crafts and artistic endeavors such as ceramics and painting. She is thrilled to join the Madam Improv team and can’t wait to “yes and” (once in a while).

He was first introduced to improv in 4th grade where had a teacher who was also a clown. Kenny Jay was a straight-A student, and he tried one zip zap zop and it was all over. From then on, he had a passion for performing and went on to participate in UCB Improv, choirs, musicals/plays, stand-up, songwriting, and even a reality TV singing competition that we won’t discuss. Growing up in New York, Kenny grew tired of the harsh winters and decided to move to Nashville in 2017. After a few rough adjustment years, Kenny decided whatever it took he was going to start performing again. He went back to his roots in improv and is grateful Madam Improv has provided him with a space to do so. Outside of desperately seeking attention onstage, Kenny enjoys getting lost in the woods, songwriting, and being a dog dad to Buster.

Tired of having to sit through impromptu home Christmas talent shows and spontaneous dance recitals, the McDonalds finally found a place for their most dramatic child, Katie. Katie loved being on stage from an early age acting in church plays, musical theater and was even given an award or two for being dramatic. And yet sweet Katie was left unfulfilled until 2017 when she found her true love, improvisational comedy. Katie has had the privilege of performing on stages around Music City and is thrilled to join Madam Improv! Outside of improv you can find Katie on her quest to find the best IPA or talking someone’s ear off on plant propagation…plants are pretty cool.
After years of hamming it up in theatre, musicals, and emceeing, it was finally time to try comedy. Having fantasized about this day, Morgan’s dreams came true when she discovered improv. On stage Morgan loves being goofy, loud, and having way too much fun. Outside of improv, Morgan enjoys spending time with friends, experiencing Nashville, and watching Gilmore Girls.

He then journeyed to Nashville, TN in search of the most macho improv group he could find—naturally leading him to the wonderful Madam Improv. When he’s not improvising, the mild-mannered journalist also likes to spend his time cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide (Roll Tide), rooting for Nottingham Forest, and watching way too many classic action movies.
From the moment Hannah told her first knock-knock joke, she knew she was special. From there the road to comedy was as smooth as her Michigan accent. But don’t let that silky twang fool you; there are more accents behind those Elvis-lovin’, trivia-winnin’ baby blue glasses. Those who are lucky enough to witness her on stage can be blessed

But don’t let that silky twang fool you; there are more accents behind those Elvis-lovin’, trivia-winnin’ baby blue glasses. Those who are lucky enough to witness her on stage can be blessed by her unforgettable Queen of England impression that almost sounds British. Or was that David Beckham?
Once voted “Most Likely To Be The Next Weird Al Yankovic” by her peers, Hannah has spent her life since then failing to live up to such lofty expectations. Once voted “Most Likely To Be The Next Weird Al Yankovic” by her peers, Hannah has spent her life since then failing to live up to such lofty expectations. She’s very thankful that the Madams subscribe to the philosophy that you can never have too many Hannahs and to be joining such an awesome group of humans. Offstage, you can catch her eating guacamole, avoiding jaywalking, and practicing her Gollum impression—you know, normal-people stuff.
Natalie, she’s just a gal! After being introduced to Zoom Improv in 2020, Natalie couldn’t wait to leave her apartment and try improv IRL! She started her improv journey at Third Coast Comedy Club in January 2022. Outside of being silly goofy on the improv stage, Natalie can be found being silly goofy on the climbing wall, on her bike, on the trails, or at various run clubs.
After years of noticing her preschool students laughing at her jokes (…or maybe it was her teaching), Leah developed a false sense of comedic confidence and ended up in an improv class. Fast forward to today, where Leah gets to be on stage with her best friends to put her talents to good use - shout out to those 4-year-olds who have no id

Fast forward to today, where Leah gets to be on stage with her best friends to put her talents to good use - shout out to those 4-year-olds who have no idea what they’ve done. When Leah isn’t improvising, dealing with potty time, or working, she enjoys boxing, crafting, and seeing how long she can avoid doing laundry.

Because her hair modeling career didn’t pan out, Kaitlin decided (since she was so hair-larious) she would give improv a try. She grew up on Robin Williams and Jim Carrey movies and credits those movies for preparing her to perform with her amazingly talented friends in Madam Improv. When Kaitlin isn’t doing improv, you can find her singing show tunes in Cabarets around Nashville and also preparing for her favorite time of the year Halloween!
